Bristol Zoo Garden’s Halloween Festival has already started and will be holding pumpkin decorating / carving and fancy dress competitions on Friday.
A terrifying Halloween Ghost Hunt will take place on Sunday at two very haunted and historic railway buildings in Bristol Exeter House and at the Victorian Temple Meads underground vaults. Join the hunt if you dare!
On Monday 31st, spooky Halloween tours will be running around old Bristol and its haunted buildings including a 16th Century church. A ‘Trick or Treat’ tour, special fancy dressed guided tour suitable for all the family, will be also held at the Arnos Vale Cemetery at twilight to discover some of the nocturnal creatures.

Bristol Zoo Gardens is celebrating its 175th anniversary with a line-up of activities and events. Visitors can discover the Bristol Walk of Fame, celebrating and featuring 50 of the city’s most renowned people, places and icons.
Musical entertainment for all the family will be guaranteed at Bristol Hippodrome with the performance of Hairspray, the story of a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart who has one passion – to dance.
There will be a party atmosphere in Millenium Square on Friday 29 April. The Royal Wedding will be celebrated and showed on the Big Screen. Be prepared to converse with complete strangers when Kate’s wedding dress is revealed.
Bristol’s popular pie-making company, Pieminister, has 2 new pies to commemorate the Royal Wedding. The Kate & Wills pie and the Royal Pear Pie will be available through independent food shops and Pieminister outlets in the city until the start of May.
